My friends must hate me

If it wasn’t enough that Chloe got knocked up, Jessica calls on Friday to announce that she is also pregnant….WITH TWINS

Whatever… Who needs a baby when I have the new garden that we are building in the back-yard to keep me busy. I ordered vegetable and wild flower seeds and hopefully we will start planting as soon as we get the dang soil tested. Apparently a lot of urban soil has poisonous amounts of lead in it. Good thing I live with a bunch of hypochondriacs as I would have never thought to check. Caitlin and I dug up a bunch of holes to get deep samples and now the soil is spread out in her kitchen, drying. She is going to bike it over to the laboratory once it gets good and dry. I just love the image of her biking to the laboratory to hand deliver our soil sample. And maybe she can meet a nice scientist while she is there!
